Test K: Driver Information Display Switch Inoperative

  1. Perform Driver Information Display (DID) diagnostic system check. See DRIVER INFORMATION SYSTEMS DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. Go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Depress Driver Information Display (DID) MODE or E/M buttons to change DID information display. If DID does not change appropriately for button depressed, replace DID. Go to next step.
  3. Calibrate replacement DID compass. See COMPASS CALIBRATION  under ADJUSTMENTS. Verify replacement DID operates properly.
