Display And Gauge System Analog Instrument Panels: Description

Instrument panels are equipped with conventional analog gauges and warning indicator lights for the following systems: turn signals, high beam, door and liftgate ajar, sliding door ajar, brakes and Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), charging, engine coolant, engine oil, seat belts, SERVICE ENGINE SOON, traction control, and air bag. See Fig 1 .
Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) may also be equipped with message center. Vehicle may also be equipped with Driver Information Display (DID) located in overhead console. Message center and/or DID will display messages to alert driver of system malfunctions has occurred or conditions that need attention.
