Manual Compass Calibration

If the compass display has become erratic and "C" is not displayed in the Driver Information Display (DID), the compass should be manually calibrated. In an area free from large metal objects (empty parking lot), bring vehicle to a stop. Cycle the DID to compass/temperature mode. Depress both E/M and MODE button simultaneously for at least 10 seconds until the calibration symbol appears and release buttons. Make 3 complete 360° turns without stopping. Compass should now be calibrated.
