Pressure Bleeding

  1. Clean master cylinder cap and surrounding area, then remove cap. With pressure tank at least 1/2 full, charge tank to 20-25 psi (1.4-1.8 kg/cm2 ). Install appropriate pressure bleeder adapter to master cylinder and connect pressure tank.
  2. Attach vinyl bleeder hose to first bleeder screw to be serviced. See BRAKE LINE BLEEDING SEQUENCE  table. Submerge other end of hose in clean, transparent container partially filled with clean brake fluid.
  3. Open release valve on pressure tank. Inspect area for leaks. Open bleeder screw, noting fluid flow. When fluid flowing into container is clear and bubble free, close bleeder screw securely. Finish bleeding system, in the same manner, using appropriate sequence. See BRAKE LINE BLEEDING SEQUENCE  table. Close release valve, and remove pressure tank from master cylinder. Check master cylinder reservoir fluid level. Ensure brake pedal is firm. If brake pedal is spongy or soft, bleed system again.
