Front Disc Brake Caliper: Disassembly

Remove piston dust boot and retaining ring. See Figure. Place a block of wood between piston and caliper cavity wall. Carefully apply a moderate amount of compressed air to fluid inlet to force piston out of caliper. Remove piston seal using thin-blade tool. Remove bleed valve.
