Front Brake Rotor: Removal

NOTE: Manufacturer does not recommend resurfacing rotors when replacing brake pads. Resurface rotors only when there is brake pulsation complaints or scoring greater than .060" (1.5 mm).

Remove caliper and wire aside with lines attached. See FRONT BRAKE CALIPER  . Remove the caliper bracket bolts. Remove the caliper bracket. Mark rotor in relation to hub for installation reference. Remove rotor.
