Master Cylinder: Assembly
CAUTION:
DO NOT use abrasives or hone inside master cylinder bore. If scoring or corrosion are noted, replace master cylinder.
Replace following parts: primary seal, primary retainer, primary piston assembly and secondary seal and retainer. Lubricate all components and master cylinder bore with clean brake fluid. Install springs, spring retainers, seals and pistons. See Figure . Install retainer, while depressing primary piston into bore. Install proportioning valves (if equipped). Install brake fluid reservoir, fluid level sensor and diaphragm cap.
