Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement (Impala)

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Power Mirror Replacement (Impala) (Power Mirror Replacement).
2. Remove the rear screw from the front door outer belt sealing strip.
3. Remove the front door outer belt sealing strip.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the front door outer belt sealing strip to the front door pinch-weld flange.
2. Install the front door outer belt sealing strip to the front door pinch-weld flange pressing into place until fully seated.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the screw to the rear of the front door outer belt sealing strip.

Tighten the outer belt sealing strip screw to 2 Nm (18 lb in).

4. Install the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Power Mirror Replacement (Impala) (Power Mirror Replacement).
