SIR Steering Wheel Module Coil - Disassemble

Disassembly Procedure
1. Remove the upper and lower shrouds. Refer to Trim Covers, Shift Lever Seal - Disassemble - Off Vehicle.





2. Pop the wire harness assembly (1) out of the wire harness strap (2).
3. Remove the small wire harness straps from the wire harness assembly.
4. Disconnect the SIR coil assembly connector.





5. Remove the retaining ring (1) from the groove on the race and upper shaft assembly (2).





6. Remove the SIR coil assembly (2).
