Brake Pedal Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the brake booster.
2. Remove the brake pedal bracket mounting nuts.
3. Remove the Cross Vehicle Beam.
4. Remove the brake pedal. Refer to Brake Pedal Replacement.





5. Remove the brake pedal bracket

Installation Procedure





1. Install the brake pedal bracket.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the brake pedal bracket mounting nuts.
^ Tighten the nuts to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the brake pedal. Refer to Brake Pedal Replacement.
4. Install the Cross Vehicle Beam.
5. Install the brake booster.
