Door Wiring Harness Replacement (Impala Rear)

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
2. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Impala) (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the rear door rubber conduit form the rear door. Refer to Rear Side Door Wiring Conduit Replacement (Impala).
4. Pull out the Harness connector from inside the pillar and disconnect the connector from the body harness.
5. Disconnect the rear door wiring harness connectors from all of the accessories.
6. Disconnect the rear door wiring harness rosebud retainers from the inner rear door panel.
7. Remove the rear door wiring harness from the rear door.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the rear door wiring harness to the rear door.
2. Connect the rear door wiring harness rosebud retainers to the inner rear door panel.
3. Connect the rear door wiring harness connectors to all the accessories.
4. Install the rear door rubber conduit to the rear door. Refer to Rear Side Door Wiring Conduit Replacement (Impala).
5. Connect the connector to the body harness.
6. Install the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Impala) (Service and Repair).
7. Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
