Theft-Deterrent Feature

THEFTLOCK(R) discourages theft of the radio. THEFTLOCK(R) uses a secret code which disables all radio functions whenever the battery power is removed.

You may either use or ignore the THEFTLOCK(R) feature for the radio. If ignored, the system plays normally and the radio is not protected by the feature. If THEFTLOCK is activated, the radio will not operate if stolen.

When you activate THEFTLOCK(R), the radio displays LOC, which indicates a locked condition, anytime the battery power has been interrupted. If your battery loses power for any reason, you must unlock the radio with the secret code before you may operate the radio.
