Oil Pressure Warning Indicator Is Always On

  1. If instrument panel cluster diagnostic check was performed, go to next step. If instrument panel cluster diagnostic check was not performed, go to INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK .
  2. Check oil pressure sender switch. See appropriate ENGINE PERFORMANCE article. If faulty, replace engine oil pressure switch. After repair, check system operation. If engine oil pressure switch is okay, go to next step.
  3. Replace IPC. See INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC)  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION then go to next step.
  4. Check oil pressure warning indicator operation. If system operates normally, repair is complete. If problem still exists, return to step  2.
