DTC B0931: Compass Sensor Circuit Malfunction: Testing
- If driver information center diagnostic system check was performed, go to next step. If driver information center diagnostic system check was not performed, go to DRIVER INFORMATION SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
- If vehicle is equipped with sun roof, go to next step. If vehicle is not equipped with sun roof, go to step 4.
- Check for poor harness connections or connector damage. Also check for faulty wiring. Repair wiring and/or connections as necessary. After repair, go to step 5. If wiring and connections are okay, go to next step.
- Replace DIC. See DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER (DIC) under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Using scan tool, clear DTCs. Operate vehicle to verify normal compass operation. Compass is normally self-calibrating. If recalibration is necessary, see DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER (DIC) under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
