Removal & Installation

- Remove the fasteners securing the closeout insulator panel to the instrument panel retainer. Remove the heater temperature sensor from the closeout insulator panel by turning 1/4 turn counter clockwise. Disconnect electrical connector from the lower I/P courtesy lamp. Slide the closeout insulator panel rearward in order to remove from the vehicle.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the park brake warning lamp switch. Remove the park brake warning lamp switch retaining bolt. Remove the park brake warning lamp switch.
- Install the park brake warning lamp switch to the park brake lever assembly. Align the locator pin to the locator hole. Install the park brake switch retaining bolt. Connect the park brake warning lamp electrical connector to the park brake warning lamp switch. Install the left sound insulator panel. Set the forward edge of the closeout insulator panel onto the shelf of carpeting at the front of the vehicle. Connect the electrical connector to the lower I/P courtesy lamp. Install the heater temperature sensor to the closeout insulator panel by turning 1/4 turn clockwise. Install fasteners into lower IP. Position the closeout insulator panel to the I/P retainer.
