Service Throttle Soon Warning Light (Diesel)

Throttle on diesel engines is controlled electronically. Warning light is part of diesel engine control system. It comes on if a malfunction or diagnostic trouble code exists. As a bulb check, light comes on for 1-5 seconds when ignition is turned on. If no problem exists, light goes out when engine starts.
