Installation - Rear Drum

  1. Align the hose fitting with the notch in the brackets. Ensure that there are no kinks in the brake hose.
  2. Install the brake hose to the brackets.
  3. Install the brake hose retainers to the hose fittings.
  4. Install the brake pipes to the brake hose. Tighten the fittings to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  5. Bleed the hydraulic brake system. See HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEM BLEEDING  under BLEEDING, FILLING & FLUSHING BRAKE SYSTEM.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
