Park Brake Cable Mounting Bracket: Removal

  1. Release the parking brake, if applied.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle.
  3. Remove the park brake equalizer. See PARK BRAKE CABLE EQUALIZER .
  4. Using the Park Brake Cable Release Tool, collapse the locking tabs on the park brake cable.
  5. Remove the park brake cable from the mounting bracket.
  6. Remove the cable mounting bolts for the mounting bracket.
  7. Remove the park brake cable mounting bracket.
