Brake Rotor - Rear: Removal

  1. Remove the brake caliper. See BRAKE CALIPER - REAR 
  2. Remove the brake pads. See BRAKE PADS - REAR .
  3. Remove the brake caliper mount. See BRAKE CALIPER BRACKET - REAR .
  4. Remove and dispose of the sheet metal rotor retainers.
  5. Remove the brake rotor.
  6. Inspect the brake rotor. See DISC ROTOR SURFACE AND WEAR INSPECTION  under ADJUSTMENTS & INSPECTION.
  7. Refinish the brake rotor if necessary.
