Test 15: Driver Information Center Switch Inoperative - English/Metric

  1. Turn ignition on. Place Driver Information Center (DIC) in temperature display mode. Press and release US/MET button twice. If display toggles between US and METRIC. No problem is indicated at this time. If display does not toggle between US and METRIC, go to next step.
  2. Replace compass/temperature display module. See COMPASS/TEMPERATURE DISPLAY MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. After repairs, go to next step.
  3. Connect all disconnected components. Check system for proper operation. If system operates properly, test is complete. If system does not operate properly, go to step  1 .
