All Gauges & Indicators (Except Turn Signals, High Beam & Seat Belt Indicator) Inoperative

  1. Check IGN 1 fuse (10-amp) in fuse block. If IGN 1 fuse is open, go to next step. If IGN 1 fuse is okay, go to step  3 .
  2. Repair short to ground in circuit No. 39 (Pink wire) between instrument cluster Natural 18-pin connector C1 and fuse block. Recheck system operation.
  3. Disconnect instrument cluster Natural 18-pin connector C1. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Connect test light between instrument cluster harness connector C1, terminal "I" (Pink wire) and ground. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step  5 .
  4. Replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Recheck system operation.
  5. Repair poor connection or open in circuit No. 39 (Pink wire) between instrument cluster connector C1 and fuse block. Recheck system operation.
