Coolant Temperature Warning Indicator Inoperative

  1. Check for DTCs. If no DTCs exist, go to next step. If DTCs exist, see appropriate SELF - DIAGNOSTICS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE.
  2. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. If coolant temperature warning indicator illuminates, start engine. If coolant temperature warning indicator goes out, system is okay. If coolant temperature warning indicator does not illuminate, go to DTC P1673 in appropriate SELF - DIAGNOSTICS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE.
