  1. Disconnect oil pressure sensor connector. Connect a fused jumper wire between oil pressure sensor terminal "A" (Tan wire) and ground. Turn ignition switch to RUN position (engine off). If gauge indicates low oil pressure, go to next step. If gauge indicates high oil pressure, go to step  5 .
  2. Connect a fused jumper wire between oil pressure sensor terminals "A" (Tan wire) and "B" (Black/White wire). If gauge indicates low oil pressure, go to next step. If gauge indicates high oil pressure, go to step  4 .
  3. Check for poor connection at oil pressure sensor. If connection is okay, replace oil pressure sensor.
  4. Repair poor connection or open in Black/White wire between oil pressure sensor and ground.
  5. Check for poor connection or open in Tan wire between oil pressure sensor and instrument cluster. Repair as necessary. If circuit is okay, repair or replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
