Low Oil Indicator Always On

  1. Check oil level. Fill if necessary. Check for PCM DTCs. If DTCs exist, see appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. If DTCs do not exist, go to next step.
  2. Using scan tool, enter instrument cluster WOW mode. Command instrument cluster indicators off. If low oil indicator turns off, go to appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. If low oil indicator stays illuminated, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
