Cleaning & Inspection

Thoroughly clean all components prior to inspection. Check all bearings, shafts, sprockets, oil passages, and chain. Check all mating surfaces for any signs of wear or damage. Examine thrust washers for any wear, spalling, or corrosion. Replace all components that appear worn or damaged.
