Coolant Temperature

Gauge is Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) controlled using Vehicle Control Module/Powertrain Control Module (VCM/PCM) data on Class 2 serial data line. VCM/PCM receives information from resistance of coolant temperature sensor. As coolant temperature increases, sensor resistance decreases.
