Technician Safety Information

It is important that technicians wash their hands after handling coated spark plugs and before smoking. The coating itself is a nonhazardous material and incidental contact will not cause any adverse affects. However, exposure to polymer vapors (the result of a cigarette being coated from handling, then burned) may cause flu like symptoms and should be avoided.
