Engine Mount Strut Bracket Replacement (Right Side)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





1. Disconnect the battery ground (negative) cable.
2. Remove the right engine mount strut from the right engine mount strut bracket.





3. Remove the engine oil cooler coolant line bracket bolt.
4. Remove the engine wiring harness bracket bolt.
5. Remove the air conditioning compressor mounting bolts and set the compressor aside.





6. Remove the vertical engine mount strut bracket bolt from the right engine mount strut bracket.
7. Remove the lower engine mount strut bracket bolt from the right engine mount strut bracket.
8. Remove the right engine mount strut bracket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Position the right engine mount strut bracket over the pin locator.
2. Install the lower engine mount strut bracket bolt through the right engine mount strut bracket into the cylinder block.
^ Tighten the engine mount strut bracket bolt to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).

3. Install the vertical engine mount strut bracket bolt through the right engine mount strut bracket to the cylinder head.
^ Tighten the engine mount strut bracket bolt to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).

4. Install the air conditioning compressor.
5. Install the engine wiring harness bracket bolt.
^ Tighten the engine wiring harness bracket bolt to 13 Nm (110 inch lbs.).





6. Install the engine oil cooler coolant line bracket bolt.





7. Install the right engine mount strut to the right engine mount strut bracket.
8. Connect the battery ground (negative) cable.
