Tachometer Gauge Inoperative Or Inaccurate
- If vehicle has been checked for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), go to next step. If vehicle has not been checked for DTCs, see appropriate TESTS W/CODES

- Check for open, excessive resistance, electromagnetic interference or short (to ground or battery) in circuit No. 121 (White wire) between instrument cluster and ignition control module. Repair as necessary and recheck system operation. If circuit is okay, go to next step.
- Replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Recheck system operation.
