SEO VF Digital Odometer Does Not Switch Between Trip & Season

  1. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Set trip/odometer switch to TRIP position. If odometer is showing trip, go to next step. If odometer is not showing trip, go to step 6).
  2. Disconnect accessory switch harness connector. If odometer is showing trip, go to next step. If odometer is not showing trip, go to step 5).
  3. Check for short to ground in circuit No. 717 (White wire) between accessory switch and digital speedometer module. Repair as necessary and recheck system operation. If circuit is okay, go to next step.
  4. Replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Recheck system operation.
  5. Replace accessory switch. Recheck system operation.
  6. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect accessory switch connector. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Connect a 5-amp fused jumper wire between accessory switch harness connector terminal "C" (White wire) and ground. If odometer is showing trip, go to next step. If odometer is not showing trip, go to step 8).
  7. Check for open in circuit No. 717 (White wire) between accessory switch and digital speedometer module. Repair as necessary and recheck system operation. If circuit is okay, go to step 4).
  8. Check for poor connection or open in circuit No. 1550 (Black wire) between accessory switch and ground. Repair as necessary and recheck system operation. If circuit is okay, go to step 5).
