SEO VF Digital Display Does Not Turn Off When Ignition Switch Is In Run Position, Headlights Are Off & Display Switch Is On

Disconnect accessory switch connector. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Connect a test light between accessory switch harness connector terminal "A" (Pink wire) and ground. If test light illuminates, go to step 3). If test light does not illuminate, go to next step.
Repair poor connection or open in circuit No. 39 (Pink wire) between accessory switch and fuse block. Recheck system operation.
Connect a 3-amp fused jumper wire between accessory switch harness connector terminals "A" (Pink wire) and "B" (Purple wire). Turn headlights off. Turn accessory switch display switch off. If accessory switch display turns off, go to next step. If accessory switch display does not turn off, go to step 5).
Replace accessory switch. Recheck system operation.
Check for poor connection or open in circuit No. 328 (Purple wire) between accessory switch and SEO switch panel diode (located in instrument panel harness behind instrument cluster, about 5" from digital speedometer module breakout). Check for poor connection or open in circuit No. 308 (Gray/Black wire) between SEO switch panel diode and splice S212 (located in instrument panel wiring harness behind instrument cluster, about 3" from instrument cluster breakout). Repair as necessary and recheck system operation. If connections and circuits are okay, replace switch panel diode. Recheck system operation.
