SEO VF Digital Display Does Not Step Dim When Parking Lights Are On

  1. If radio lights step dim when parking lights are turned on, go to next step. If radio lights do not step dim when parking lights are turned on, locate and repair problem in interior lighting system. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
  2. Check for poor connection or open in circuit No. 308 (Gray/Black wire) between digital speedometer module and splice S212 (located in instrument panel wiring harness behind instrument cluster, about 3" from instrument cluster breakout). Repair as necessary and recheck system operation. If circuit is okay, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Recheck system operation.
