Circuit Description
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
VCM monitors performance of EVAP system by applying a predetermined level of vacuum to EVAP system, then monitors the vacuum decay rate. VCM sets this DTC if vacuum decay rate is greater than a predetermined value.
Conditions for setting DTC:
- No ECT, HO2S, IAT, MAP, TP or VSS DTCs set.
- DTC P0125 not active.
- ECT and IAT greater than 39°F (4°C) but less than 86°F (30°C).
- BARO pressure greater than 73 kPa.
- Excess vacuum present in EVAP system.
- Fuel level greater than 10-85 percent of full tank.
- System voltage greater than 10 volts but less than 17 volts.
