Low Coolant Indicator Is Always On

  1. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Disconnect coolant level sender. If low coolant indicator goes out, replace coolant level sender. If low coolant indicator remains on, go to next step.
  2. Disconnect instrument cluster harness connector. Connect test light between instrument cluster harness connector terminal No. 25 (Yellow/Black wire) and battery power. If test light does not light, replace instrument cluster. If test light lights, repair short to ground in Yellow/Black wire.
