Lights-on Warning
Voltage is applied to the audio alarm module when the headlamp switch is in the HEAD or PARK position. Voltage is applied through the fuse block to the alarm module when the ignition switch is in one of the following position:^ RUN
^ BULB TEST
^ START
These 2 voltages are sensed and the alarm is not sounded.
The module loses voltage when the ignition switch is not in one of the following positions:
^ RUN
^ BULB TEST
^ START
The audio alarm module senses change. If voltage is still available, the voltage is applied in order to sound the alarm. The alarm can be turned off by turning the headlamp switch to the OFF position. The alarm module will no longer sense voltage from the headlamp switch, so the alarm will not sound.
