Removal & Installation (With Drum Brakes)

Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel and brake drum. See REAR BRAKE SHOES under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION  . Remove bolts securing hub and bearing assembly to backing plate. Disconnect wheel speed sensor (if equipped). Remove hub and bearing assembly. Suspend brake backing plate with wire so it will not damage brakeline. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
