Fasten Seat Belt Warning

With the ignition switch in "RUN," "BULB 'TEST," or "START," voltage is applied through the fuse block to the body control module. With the driver's seat belt unbuckled, the module is grounded through the seat belt switch and the alarm sounds. When the driver's seat belt is buckled, the alarm shuts off. If' the driver's seat belt remains unbuckled, the alarm times out after 4 to 8 seconds.
