ABS Inop Indicator Lamp

The "ABS INOP" indicator lamp is part of the antilock brake system. When the ignition switch is turned to the "RUN" position, the "ABS INOP" lamp will turn on for approximately 3 seconds and then turn off if no ABS malfunction is detected. If a malfunction is detected, the lamp will remain on.
If the "ABS INOP" indicator lamp comes on while driving, there is a malfunction in the antilock brake system.
