When brake rotors are being refinished to correct a problem with brake pulsation, it is recommended that an On-Vehicle Brake Lathe such as the VGB 610 Brake Lathe listed in the GM Dealer Equipment Catalog, or equivalent be used to achieve best results. Follow the equipment manufacturer's recommended procedure and specifications.
