Brake Pedal:




Stoplamp And Cruise Control Switches:





REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Left side instrument panel insulator.
3. Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM).
4. Cruise control release switch, stoplamp and Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) switch, and cruise control clutch switch or cruise control clutch anticipate switch if equipped, from pedal with bracket.
5. Accelerator pedal.
6. Brake pedal pushrod pin retainer, brake pedal pushrod and brake pedal pushrod washer from brake pedal pin.
7. Brake pedal nuts and brake pedal bracket bolts/screws.
8. Brake pedal with bracket.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

NOTE: When installing brake pedal with bracket, make sure that dash panel insulator material does not get pinched between brake pedal with bracket and dash panel.

1. Brake pedal with bracket.
2. Brake pedal nuts and brake pedal bracket bolts/screws. Brake pedal nuts to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.) in sequence:
- Inboard upper
- Outboard lower
- Outboard upper
- Inboard lower

NOTE: Brake pedal bracket bolts/screws to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).

4. Accelerator pedal.
5. Brake pedal pushrod pin retainer, brake pedal pushrod and brake pedal pushrod washer to brake pedal pin. Lubricate brake pedal pin with chassis lubricant.
6. Cruise control release switch, stoplamp and TCC switch, and cruise control clutch switch or cruise control clutch anticipate switch if equipped, to pedal with bracket.
7. Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM).
8. Left side instrument panel insulator.
9. Negative battery cable. Tighten Negative battery cable to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.). Adjust cruise control release switch, stoplamp and TCC switch control.
