Indicator Does Not Light When Coolant Level Is Low

Disconnect low coolant level sensor connector. Connect ohmmeter between low coolant level sensor terminals "A" (Light Green wire) and "B" (Black wire). If 10-50 k/ohms are present, go to next step. If Less than 10 k/ohms are present, replace low coolant level sensor.
Disconnect low coolant level indicator module connector. Connect self-powered test light between low coolant level indicator module connector terminal "F" (Light Green wire) and ground. If test light does not come on, go to next step. If test light does come on, repair short to ground in Light Green wire.
Disconnect instrument cluster connector. Connect self-powered test light between instrument cluster connector terminal No. 25 (Yellow/Black wire) and low coolant level indicator module connector terminal "E" (Yellow/Black wire). See Figure . If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair open circuit in Yellow/Black wire.
Reconnect instrument cluster connector. Turn ignition on. Connect fused jumper wire between low coolant level indicator module connector terminal "E" (Yellow/Black wire) and ground. If indicator lights, replace low coolant level indicator module. If indicator does not light, replace instrument cluster.
