Rocker Arm Assembly: Installation

  1. Install push rods with hardened end upward in original location (if removed). Install rocker arm assembly in original location, ensuring push rods are seated in rocker arms.
  2. Install rocker arm shaft bolts. Alternately tighten shaft bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Turn engine over by hand to ensure valves clear pistons. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
