Voltmeter Is Inaccurate (Motorhome)

  1. Turn ignition on. Backprobe instrument cluster with a test light between terminal No. 20 (Black wire) and voltage. If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair open circuit in Black wire.
  2. Backprobe instrument cluster with a voltmeter between terminal No. 27 (Pink wire) and ground. If less than 10 volts are present, repair open circuit in Pink wire. If greater than 10 volts are present, check instrument cluster for an open in printed circuit. If printed circuit is okay, replace voltmeter.
