Full At All Times (Dual Tanks)

  1. Disconnect balance fuel pump connector. Connect a fused jumper wire between balance fuel pump terminal "A" (Black wire) and ground. Connect another fused jumper wire between balance fuel pump terminal "B" (Light Green wire) and voltage. If balance fuel pump runs, go to next step. If balance fuel pump does not run, replace balance fuel pump.
  2. Connect self-powered test light between balance fuel pump connector terminal "A" (Black wire) and ground. If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair open circuit in Black wire.
  3. Remove fuel pump balance relay. Connect self-powered test light between fuel pump balance relay socket terminal No. 87 (Light Green wire) and balance fuel pump connector terminal "B" (Light Green wire). If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair open circuit in Light Green wire.
  4. Connect test light between fuel pump balance relay socket terminal No. 30 (Pink wire) and ground. If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair open circuit in Pink wire.
  5. Remove fuel pump balance relay from underhood relay center. Connect test light between fuel pump balance relay socket terminal No. 85 (Gray wire) and fuel pump relay terminal A3 (Gray wire). If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair open circuit in Gray wire.
  6. Disconnect fuel pump balance module connector. Connect self-powered test light between fuel pump balance relay socket terminal No. 86 (Light Green wire) and fuel pump balance module connector terminal "D" (Light Green wire). If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair open circuit in Light Green wire.
  7. Reinstall fuel pump balance relay. Connect fused jumper wire between fuel pump balance module connector terminal "D" (Light Green wire) and ground. Connect test light between balance fuel pump connector terminal "B" (Light Green wire) and ground. If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, replace fuel pump balance relay.
  8. Connect test light between fuel pump balance module connector terminal "A" (Pink wire) and ground. If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair open circuit in Pink wire.
  9. Connect test light between fuel pump balance module connector terminal "E" (Black/White wire) and ground. If test light comes on, replace fuel pump balance module. If test light does not come on, repair open circuit in Black/White wire.
