Gauge Always Indicates Low Oil Pressure
- Disconnect oil pressure switch/sender connector. Turn ignition on. If gauge indicates high pressure, replace oil pressure switch/sender.
- If gauge indicates no or low pressure, locate and repair short circuit in Tan wire between oil pressure switch/sender connector and instrument cluster connector. If wire is okay, replace oil pressure gauge.
