Fuel Gauge Always Reads Empty
- Disconnect fuel gauge sending unit. Turn ignition on. If gauge indicates full, check ground. If ground is okay, replace fuel gauge sending unit.
- If gauge indicates empty, check wire from sending unit to IPC for a short to ground or shorted IPC. If wiring is okay, check fuel gauge connections. If connections are okay, replace fuel gauge.
