Gauge Stays At FULL Position
- Turn ignition on. Check for open circuit between gauge and sending unit by unplugging sending unit lead at fuel tank. Connect sending unit lead to ground. Observe gauge indication.
- If fuel gauge now indicates EMPTY, replace fuel gauge sending unit. If fuel gauge still indicates FULL or beyond, repair open in wire between gauge and fuel tank.
