Shock Absorber: Installation

  1. Connect shock absorber (13) to the frame.
  2. Install bolt (38).
  3. Install spring washer (15) and/or washer (21).
  4. Install nut (16).
  5. Tighten nut to (16) to 75 ft. lbs. (102 N.m).
  6. Connect shock absorber (13) to the axle. Line up shock absorber with the axle bracket.
  7. Install bolt (14), spring washer (12), and nut (11).
  8. Tighten nut (11) to 75 ft. lbs. (102 N.m).
  9. Lower the vehicle to the ground.
