2-3 Shift Soft, Slips or Early

1. Intermediate servo:

a. Piston to case oil seal damaged.

b. Servo piston damaged.

c. Servo bore in case damaged.

2. Accumulator exhaust check valve not seating in case.

3. Spacer plate:

a. Plugged or restricted direct clutch feed orifice.

b. Incorrect case cover gaskets.

c. Drive sprocket support passages interconnected, leaking or restricted.

d. Sleeve loose or out of position.

4. Direct clutch:

a. Check ball leaking.

b. Check ball capsule damaged.

c. Damaged or missing seals.

d. Cracked or damaged housing or piston.

e. Missing or incorrect apply ring.

f. Wrong number of clutch plates.
