Inspection

1. Inspect selective spacer and carrier bushing for damage.

2. Inspect reaction carrier pinions for damage, rough bearings and tilt.

3. Measure pinion endplay with feeler gauge. Correct endplay is 0.009-0.027 inch.

4. Inspect clutch race for damage, cracks or wear.

5. Inspect rollers, springs and cage for damage or wean

6. Inspect carrier thrust washer for scoring or distortion.
